Celsius (°C) is the temperature scale used in most countries worldwide. Water freezes at 0°C and boils at 100°C at standard atmospheric pressure. It is the most commonly used scale in India.
Fahrenheit (°F) is the temperature scale used primarily in the United States. Water freezes at 32°F and boils at 212°F. Body temperature is 98.6°F (37°C).
Kelvin (K) is the SI unit of temperature used in science and engineering. It starts from absolute zero (−273.15°C), where all molecular motion stops. 0°C = 273.15 K.
