LTV (Loan to Value) is the percentage of the gold's market value that the lender gives as a loan. RBI mandates a maximum LTV of 75% for gold loans from banks.
Gold loan interest rates range from 7% to 24% p.a. Banks like SBI and HDFC offer rates around 8–11%, while NBFCs like Muthoot Finance and Manappuram charge higher rates.
